Steven Fazzini, D.M.D.

General Dentistry

Dr. Steven Fazzini was born in Rhode Island and is a lifelong resident of the state. He attended the University of Rhode Island, where he received a B.S. in Microbiology, graduating with honors. He then earned his D.M.D. degree from Tufts School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 1978. Dr. Fazzini has practiced for more than 40 years, most of them being in Cranston, and is adept at all phases of general dentistry.

Dr. Fazzini has been a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), attending both Fellowship and Mastership in that organization. He has also been a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and has several national roles for the organization, including Group Benefits Council chair. Dr. Fazzini is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and has taken several courses at the Pankey Institute of Advanced Dental Education.

Dr. Fazzini has enjoyed years of traveling both nationally and internationally with his wife, Patti, when not at work. He is also an amateur historian and has researched the Cranston neighborhood where he practices dentistry. In his spare time, he also plays golf and the esoteric sport of Real (court) Tennis, which he enjoys at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport.

Farah Alayyoubi, D.M.D.

Dr. Farah Alayyoubi received her dual BA/DMD degree from Boston University. With both of her parents in the medical field, she also knew she wanted to pursue a career in health care. By combining her desire to serve her community and her great eye for detail, she began her pursuit in the field of dentistry. During her time at Boston University, she minored in Public Health and interned at the World Dental Federation headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. Here she took part in global oral health initiatives and worked on the Noma Classification system.

In dental school, Dr. Alayyoubi volunteered at numerous screening events and homeless shelters around the local Boston area including “Healing our Collaborative Community”, “Rosie’s Place” and several others. After dental school, she elected to further her education by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program in New York where she was able to improve her skills as a dentist.

Dr. Alayyoubi is passionate about treating her patients like family and enjoys learning about their life experiences and backgrounds. She individualizes her approach to each of her patients, ensuring that she can help them achieve their goals and desires. Dr. Alayyoubi’s approach to dentistry includes treating her patients as a whole and targeting healthier habits and preventive approaches for long-term healthy smiles. She enjoys volunteering at her local community garden, baking, and spending time with her friends and family in her spare time.
