As the practice has evolved over time, we have continued to embrace modern dental advancements while staying true to the values that matter most, compassion, attention to detail, and a personalized approach to care. We are also proud to welcome patients who were previously under the care of Dr. Robert Rosner and Dr. Valerie Alessandro, continuing the legacy they helped build within the community.

Yiannis Gazis, DDS

Dr. Yiannis Gazis earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University in 2022 before completing his residency at Hartford Hospital. During his time at NYU, Dr. Gazis was honored with the Dr. Bernard E. Rudner Memorial Award, presented to a fourth-year dental student who demonstrates outstanding achievement in providing comprehensive oral care and excellence in dental practice administration.Beyond the office, Dr “Yianni” enjoys spending time with his large Greek family and making memories with his wife, Anna, and their growing family. He is also an avid sports fan and enjoys following and cheering on his favorite teams.Dr. “Yianni” is passionate about providing comprehensive, high-quality dental care while building lasting relationships with his patients and their families.

Marc Czarnowski, DMD

Dr. Marc Czarnowski graduated summa cum laude from the University of Connecticut in 1978, where he was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, graduating 7th in his class. While at Penn, he received the Henry B. Robinson Award in Restorative Dentistry for the highest clinical skills and the Adrian Kristeller Award in Radiology.Dr. Czarnowski completed his dental residency at Hartford Hospital and has served as an attending dentist there since 1986, teaching and mentoring dental residents. He is also deeply involved in the community and is an active member of the Columbia Lions Club, where he has proudly served as president three times.He has been recognized as “Best Dentist” by The Chronicle Newspaper from 2019 through 2022 and was voted one of Connecticut’s “Top Dentists” by his peers in 2020.

Dr. Czarnowski lives in Columbia with his wife. He has three grown children and proudly enjoys being a Poppa to his grandchildren.
