We are also proud to welcome patients who were previously under the care of Dr. Robert Rosner and Dr. Valerie Alessandro, continuing the legacy they helped build within the community.

Meet Dr. Yiannis Gazis, DMD

General Dentistry

Dr. Yiannis Gazis graduated from New York University in 2022 and completed his residency at Hartford Hospital. He received the Dr. Bernard E. Rudner Memorial Award, which is presented to a fourth-year student who has demonstrated superior performance in providing comprehensive oral care and dental practice administration.

Yiannis enjoys time with his big Greek family, is an avid sports fan, and recently married his wife, Anna, in October 2023. Together, they are a little family of three with their 14-year-old mini dachshund, Eddy.

Meet Dr. Marc Czarnowski, DMD

General Dentistry

Dr. Marc Czarnowski graduated Suma Cum Laude from UConn in 1978 where he was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Beta Kappa. He attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, graduating 7th in his class and received the Henry B. Robinson Award in restorative dentistry for the student with the highest clinical skills and the Adrian Kristeller Award in Radiology.

Dr. Czarnowski completed his dental residency at Hartford Hospital. He has been an attending at HH, teaching dental residents, since 1986. He is active in the Columbia Lions Club and has been president of the club three times.

Dr. Czarnowski was voted “Best Dentist” by the Chronicle Newspaper in 2019, 2020,2021 and 2022. Dr. Czarnowski was voted as one of the “Top Dentists” in Connecticut by his peers in 2020.

Dr. Czarnowski lives in Columbia with his wife. He has three grown children, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, and a grand dog. He is now a Poppa to his grandson!
