Dr. Bottaro is an active member of the Connecticut State Dental Association and has served on various committees for the Connecticut Dental Society, including positions on the Board of Governors, Budget Committee, Infectious Disease Committee, Annual Meeting Committee, and Building Committee. He is a Past President of the Manchester Dental Society and has served as Peer Review Chairman for his local dental society. Dr. Bottaro has also served on advisory boards helping to establish the dental assisting program at Manchester Community College, as well as the hygiene program at Goodwin College. He also has served as an examiner for Connecticut’s Department of Health. Dr. Bottaro has also been active in the mentoring program at the UCONN School of Dentistry and has served as volunteer faculty for second, third, and fourth-year students.
Dr. Bottaro continues to broaden and deepen his knowledge of dentistry and continues his education in all areas of dentistry. Hartford Magazine recognized him as a “Top Dentist” in our state consistently from 1999 to 2019. He has advanced certificates from The International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) in Implantology, Bone Grafting, and Implant Placement. In 2010, Dr. Bottaro achieved ICOI Diplomate status, the organization’s highest level of recognition.
Dr. Bottaro provides dental care in all areas of general dentistry including root canals, extractions, bone grafting, implant placement and restorations, cosmetic dentistry, removable dentures, and cosmetic crown and bridge.
