History Behind Our Clinic

For over 20 years, Children’s Dentistry of Westerly & Wakefield has proudly provided compassionate pediatric dental care to families throughout Southern Rhode Island and southeastern Connecticut. Our team is dedicated to creating a positive, comfortable experience that helps children build healthy smiles and lifelong confidence.

At Children’s Dentistry of Westerly & Wakefield, we understand that every child is unique. That’s why we take a gentle, personalized approach focused on helping children feel safe, supported, and comfortable during every visit. From toddlers and young children to teens and patients with special healthcare needs, our team is specially trained to care for growing smiles through every stage of development.

Our pediatric dentists have completed additional specialty residency training beyond dental school, allowing them to address the unique dental, behavioral, and developmental needs of children. We combine this advanced training with a warm, family-friendly environment designed to make dental visits easier for both children and parents.

Today, Children’s Dentistry of Westerly & Wakefield continues to be a trusted dental home for families across the region by combining modern pediatric dentistry with compassionate care, education, and a commitment to helping every child smile with confidence.

Meet Dr. Anna Cabalbo, DMD

Dr. Anna Capalbo grew up in Boston, Massachusetts and attended Harvard University for her undergraduate degree. She graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2007. Dr. Capalbo then completed a two-year pediatric dental residency through Lutheran Medical Center in Providence, RI. She has been selected by Rhode Island Monthly Magazine as a Top Dentist in the field of Pediatric Dentistry for several consecutive years.

Dr. Capalbo finds working with children extremely rewarding and strives to make dental visits comfortable and enjoyable for her patients. She is an active member of her community, visiting local area schools to provide dental presentations, and sponsoring many youth sports teams. She has been selected to be the dentist for the local school systems. She also has hospital privileges at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital. Dr. Capalbo is an active member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Rhode Island Dental Association.

She lives in Westerly, RI with her husband and fellow dentist, Dr. Matthew Capalbo, and their three children. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and shopping for fun socks!

Meet Dr. Cailey Treyz, DMD

Dr. Cailey Treyz grew up in Westchester, New York and attended Stony Brook University for her undergraduate degree. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2019, followed by a two-year pediatric dental residence through Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, NY.

Dr. Treyz is a dedicated and compassionate pediatric dentist with a passion for creating positive dental experiences for children. With a warm and welcoming approach, Dr. Treyz goes above and beyond to ensure that ever child feels comfortable and at ease during their dental visits. By combining her expertise with a genuine love for working with kids, Dr. Treyz has built a reputation for providing exceptional dental care in a fun and friendly environment.

In her free time she enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with family!
