History Behind Our Clinic

The Capalbo family has deep roots in both Rhode Island and the dental profession. The practice was founded in 1946 by Dr. P. Edward Capalbo, who served as a dentist during World War II before opening his first office in downtown Westerly.

In the 1970s, his sons, Dr. Brian and Dr. Ronald Capalbo, joined the practice and continued to grow its reputation for trusted, patient-centered care. That legacy carried into the third generation, as Dr. Brian’s sons, Michael, Matthew, and Marcus, became Capalbo dentists and helped expand the practice to serve additional communities, including Wakefield and Wickford.

Today, Capalbo Dental Group continues to build on more than 70 years of experience, combining a strong family foundation with modern techniques and advanced technology. While the practice has grown, its mission remains the same: to provide compassionate, honest care in a welcoming environment where patients feel like family.
