Alexandra Brennan, DMD

I am a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist who is committed to providing high quality, compassionate care to my young patients and promoting life-long oral health. Prior to joining Children’s Dentistry of Westerly and Wakefield, I was affiliated for nine years with dental practices in Connecticut specializing in children’s dentistry.

A 2008 honors graduate from Skidmore College in cell and molecular biology, I earned my DMD from the University of Connecticut School of Dentistry in 2012 followed by a General Practice Residency at Rhode Island Hospital. It was this experience that guided my passion for working with children and patients with special needs and I continued my education to complete a two-year pediatric residency program at the University of Connecticut Health Center.

The field of dentistry continues to evolve, and I am dedicated to keeping abreast of the latest developments by participating in dental conventions and meetings to ensure my patients are receiving the gold standard of care. I am an active member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, New London Dental Society and American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, an engineer at Pratt Whitey, my daughter, extended family and friends. A lifelong resident of Southeastern Connecticut, I truly enjoy New England summers and you can often find me building intricate sandcastles on the beach with my family and exploring area parks.
