Periodontal Surgery

Periodontal surgery is for advanced cases of gum disease.

Periodontal surgery can include connective tissue and free gingival grafts, as well as pocket elimination, to name a few. The goal is to help you have a healthy base of bone and gums to last a lifetime. Periodontal surgery is ideal for advanced cases of bone loss or recession. We can stop the disease process and reverse the effects. That’s reason to smile.

While we try to maintain your gums and bone without surgical intervention, sometimes there is no other course of action.  When periodontal disease becomes chronic and severe, there is no way to stop and reverse the process (and ultimately save your teeth) without surgical techniques. Fortunately, our surgeons are well trained and highly skilled in all periodontal surgery techniques.
