Our practice combines advanced dental technology with a compassionate, small-town approach to create an experience centered around trust, comfort, and long-term oral health.

Located in the heart of North Kingstown, our office proudly serves individuals and families with comprehensive dental care tailored to every stage of life. History Behind Our Clinic

Seacoast Family Dental was founded with a simple vision to create a dental practice where advanced dentistry and genuine patient care come together in a warm, welcoming environment. From the beginning, our goal has been to provide high-quality dental care while building meaningful relationships with the families and individuals who trust us with their smiles.

Our practice found its home in North Kingstown inside a charming vintage house converted into a modern dental office during the 1980s. That unique setting became the perfect reflection of who we are today blending the comfort and familiarity of a neighborhood practice with the innovation and precision of modern dentistry.

Today, our team continues to provide comprehensive dental care with the same values that shaped our foundation, integrity, compassion, innovation, and community connection. From routine preventive visits to advanced restorative and cosmetic treatments, every service we provide is guided by our commitment to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles for life.

Matthew Capalbo, DMD

Dr. Matthew Capalbo values delivering quality care to his patients in a calm, compassionate manner. He grew up watching both his grandfather and father dedicate their professional lives to improving their patients’ oral health, and he strives to do the same.

Dr. Matt grew up in Westerly, RI, and attended Providence College for his undergraduate degree. He went to the University of Connecticut’s School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2007. Dr. Matt then completed a one-year residency in advanced education in general dentistry at the UCONN Health Center. He maintains his professional memberships and continuing education so as to provide the most current and evidence-based dentistry to his patients.

Dr. Matt lives in Westerly, RI with his wife and fellow dentist, Dr. Anna Capalbo, and their three children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and rooting for the Friars.

Thomas Morgan, DMD

Dr. Thomas Morgan was born and raised in Rhode Island. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Ohio State University, he went on to earn his Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of New England in Portland, Maine.

Dr. Morgan believes in providing comprehensive and compassionate dental care to all, regardless of socioeconomic background. Fostering trusting patient-provider relationships, Dr. Morgan can ease patient anxieties, promoting a calm environment to deliver a wide array of dental treatments. Honing his expertise in general dentistry, Dr. Morgan’s skills focus on operative procedures, fixed and removable prosthodontics, endodontic therapies, and oral surgery. In addition, Dr. Morgan is trained in pain management, CAD/CAM technologies, digital dentistry, as well as clear aligner orthodontics.

Dr. Morgan is committed to providing the most effective and up-to-date treatments through evidence-based practices and continuous education programs.
Dr. Morgan has experience addressing medically complex cases, ensuring the link between oral health and systemic health is appropriately established. He accepts patients with special care dental needs, those who do not speak English, children, and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and disabilities.

Although his passion is in serving the community, in his spare time, Dr. Morgan enjoys playing tennis, yoga, digging for quahogs/little necks, and being near the ocean with his friends and family. He loves traveling, comedy, exploring restaurants and museums, and celebrating creativity, diversity, and inclusion of all forms.

Gayathri Shenoy, DMD

Dr. Gayathri Shenoy received her degree and specialty training in Periodontology and Dental Implantology from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dr. Shenoy is Board certified in Periodontology and Dental Implantology by the American Board of Periodontology.

She is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Rhode Island Dental Association (RIDA) and American Academy of Periodontology (AAP). She is thrilled to be able to provide periodontal care to the Rhode Island community!

Dr. Shenoy is passionate about dental education, outreach, promoting healthcare literacy and community oral healthcare. When not at work, she enjoys yoga and swimming.

Brian Goldstein, DDS

Dr. Brian Goldstein is a trusted periodontist in Rhode Island. Dr. Goldstein was born in St. Louis, MO, and raised in Rochester, NY. He attended dental school at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. He then received his surgical training in Periodontology and Dental Implantology from the Richard L. Roudebush VAMC in Indianapolis, IN, and his Masters of Science in Dentistry from Indiana University. Dr. Goldstein is Board certified in Periodontology and Dental Implantology.

He believes in a comprehensive, personalized approach to dental treatment. His patients are his top priority. His favorite part of his job is communicating with them—listening to their concerns, educating them about their oral healthcare needs, linking to systemic health, and supporting and empowering them in their journey towards optimum oral health.

He currently serves as a lieutenant colonel (O5) in the US Army Reserve Component and is a Global War on terrorism veteran by providing direct operational support during Operation Inherent Resolve. He has been practicing dentistry for more than 20 years and, in that time, has served on the faculty of the following Institutions: the University of Rochester Eastman Institute of Oral Health; Yale-New Haven Hospital: and the Providence RI VAMC.

Dr. Goldstein is passionate about dental education, dental outreach, promoting healthcare literacy and community oral healthcare. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children.
