Dr. Fady Eid, DMD
General Dentistry
Dr. Fady Eid grew up in Lebanon and moved to the United States in 2012 to pursue his undergraduate studies. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Adelphi University and went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned both his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and a Master of Science in Education (MSEd). Dr. Eid completed his specialty training in periodontology and received his Doctor of Science in Dentistry (DScD) at Boston University. His doctoral research examined the impact of chronic inflammation induced by P. gingivalis and E. coli lipopolysaccharides on neuroinflammation and Alzheimer-like pathology. He has presented his research at both national and international conferences, including the IADR/AADOCR and the AAP, where he was named a finalist in the prestigious Balint Orban Memorial Competition. In addition to practicing periodontics in private practice, Dr. Eid serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontology at Boston University. Outside of work, Dr. Eid enjoys reading, baking, and playing piano. He loves exploring the Greater Boston area with his husband and spending time with their two cats.
