Dr. Barry Rosenberg is a lifelong Connecticut native. His college education at Clark University focused on biochemistry and music. He obtained his dental education and orthodontic certificate from UConn, where he is a part-time clinical faculty member.  While in dental school, he received the Orthodontic Education Award from the American Association of Orthodontists. In his orthodontic residency, he received the Northeast Society of Orthodontists research award and was asked to present his research at their annual meeting.

In 1990, he started Rosenberg Orthodontics, which, with four offices, grew into one of the largest orthodontic practices in Connecticut. For 14 years, Rosenberg Orthodontics was a top 1% and Diamond Level Invisalign provider. Dr. Rosenberg has been selected by his peers as a Top Doctor in Connecticut Magazine every year since 2008. Rosenberg Orthodontics was known for its high-quality orthodontic care and innovative marketing.

For many years was the senior orthodontist on both craniofacial/ cleft palate teams in Greater Hartford.

Dr. Rosenberg founded Greater Hartford Orthodontic Assistant Training Academy, the only state-approved school for this purpose in Connecticut. He also started Dental Assistant Radiology Test Prep, an internet-based program for dental assistants.

Dr. Rosenberg was an early adopter of in-office aligner production and has been making aligners for his practice and other doctors for over ten years. He started Express Your Smile, a cost-efficient, direct-to-consumer aligner product and a business-to-business aligner service that helps dentists deliver aligners for their patients.

Dr. Rosenberg has always had the respect of his colleagues. He has mentored many dentists and orthodontists and lectured to dentists, orthodontists, and dental professionals for many years. He has taken extensive dental management classes at Bentley College and The Wharton School. His lectures have focused on orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning, aligner use and production, and practice management.

To share his knowledge, he founded the CT Dental Forum, a successful dental continuing education service for dentists and dental staff.

Dr. Rosenberg lives with his wife and best friend of 42 years. They have three daughters, three sons-in-law and four grandchildren. He is an avid UConn and Red Sox fan. He reads non-fiction and enjoys working out and yoga for his mental and physical development.
