Over the years, East Greenwhich Family Dental has grown alongside the community it serves, continually evolving to meet the needs of patients of all ages. While advancements in dental technology and treatment have enhanced the care we provide, our commitment to comfort, trust, and personalized attention has remained the same.

Today, we continue to carry that legacy forward by combining modern dentistry with a compassionate approach, ensuring every patient feels valued, supported, and confident in their care.

Meet Dr. Frank D’Amato, DMD

Dr. D’Amato is a lifelong Rhode Island resident. After graduating from Bishop Hendricken High School in 1988, he went on to get his B.S. at Seton Hall University. He is a 1997 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed a residency training program at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA.

In 2005, after seven years as an associate for Dr. Stephen J. Sowa, he opened a private practice in North Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. D’Amato provides all facets of general dentistry and enjoys the “family” type atmosphere of his office. He also works as a dentist for the town of North Providence and participates yearly in the Donated Dental Services program, providing dental care to those on a fixed income.

His passions include giving back to the communities he is involved in. This includes being a school dentist for the surrounding towns and cities and also coaching Lincoln Little League Baseball. One of Dr. Frank’s most passionate activities is being a thoroughbred horse owner. Dr. Frank also has one son, of whom he is very proud.
